    First Edition, Illustrated, Limited Edition, Publishers' Original Binding

    A limited edition work printed on handmade paper, this is no. 269 of 550 copies printed.

    'Thyme and Bergamot' recounts the author's travels in the Andes as he searched for rare plants.

    The work is illustrated with six plates of wood engravings from John O'Connor, a talented woodcutter and painter known for his rural and melancholy prints.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Spine is faded. A few light marks to the cloth. Prior owner's ink inscription to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
