The first edition, first printing.

In the original unclipped dust wrapper.

The second of Enid Blyton's Malory Towers books, set in the fictional boarding school, based on Benenden School.

This eventual term sees three new girls arrive at the school, with more exciting explorations of the Cornish coast. 

In total Blyton wrote six novels set at Malory Towers, published between 1946 and 1951.

Illustrated with a frontispiece, and eight full-paged illustrations.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. A few light marks to the boards. Very minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Light spots to the fore edge. Light edge wear to the dust wrapper, with tape repairs to the reverse. Small closed tear to the head of the front wrap, and a small chip to the tail of the rear joint. A few light marks to the dust wrapper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Prior owner's ink inscription to the half-title.
