Meeting Jack, Jane and Benji again as they live in Happy House with their mother and Hannah the maid. The story is set in a hot summer as the family decides not to go on holiday. Luckily, the neighbour's niece and nephew are going to visit her, and the protagonists won't be spending the summer alone. Will they become friends or foe? 

Profusely illustrated with coloured plates by Kathleen Gell. 

Condition

In the original publisher's illustrated cloth binding with pictorial endpapers. Externally excellent with only minor shelfwear and slight bumping to head and tail of spine and extremities. Inscribed by a previous owner to the recto of the front free endpaper, undated. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Profusely illustrated in colour by Kathleen Gell.
