When one of the singers, widely loathed by the rest of the company, is found hanging dead in his dressing room Fen becomes the driving force behind the investigation. Written by Edmund Crispin, the pseudonym of Robert Bruce Montgomery, an English crime writer and composer known for his Gervase Fen novels and for his musical scores for the early films in the Carry On series.
Condition
In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor bumping to the extremities and fading to the spine. The odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot.
