A very scarce edition published in Llandudno.
This volume contains Part One of 'Little Women', following the four March sisters as they grow up and try and discover themselves in a world plighted by the American Civil War.
'Little Women' is one of the most beloved American novels to ever be published, first published in 1868 and 1869.
Prize label to the recto of the front endpaper.
Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the British Library.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. A few light marks to the cloth. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Prize label to the recto of the front endpaper, prior owner's ink inscription to the verso of the front endpaper. Dust wrapper is edge worn, with loss to the head and tail of the spine, and to the tail of the front wrap. Wraps are a little age-toned with handling marks. Very small tidemark to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
