This set features a comprehensive guide to old English farming books from 1523-1730, written by G. E. Fussell, an English agricultural historian. The works provide historical information on farming practices, discussing the first farming book by Fitzherbert up to works by the Board of Agriculture in the late sixteenth century.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally lovely. The wraps are very smart with handling marks, heaviest to 'More Old English Farming Books' with a closed tear to the head of the spine. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages, with only minimal strain after the contents page to 'More Old English Farming Books'.
