A complete reversible work, with illustrations and text printed to be read in either direction, with no front or back to the work.

Illustrations by British artist Rex Whistler who was known for his mural artwork. With text by Rex's brother, British poet Laurence Whistler to accompany the drawings, capturing the spirit of the two individuals. These interesting and grotesque reversible faces are both amusing and serious at the same time.

Condition

In the publisher's original pictorial boards, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with light bumping to the extremities and the occasional mark to the boards. Bookseller label to the paste down. Dust wrapper is smart, with edge wear and the odd closed tear, more significant to the spine and the extremities. Sunning to the spine of the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
