First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

This is Volume I of this very scarce publication, 'Visages de Barsac'. With only two volumes found in total to have been published for this series. 

"Presented by a Barsac winegrower", Pascaud Guillaume, with the assistance of his namesake Andre Pascaud. 

The volume consists of prose, verse and musical compositions centring around Barsac, one of the communes of the Sauternes appellation known for producing sweet white wines. 

Condition

In the publisher's wraps. Externally, sound. Wrap is sunned and damp stained, with rusting to the staple binding. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are slightly toned, but generally clean, with only a few spots to the first and last couple pages.
