This limited edition volume features Paul Gallico's heartfelt story about a girl and her friendship with a disabled artist, and the snow goose they bring back to health after they find it injured. The story is set during World War II and the evacuation of Dunkirk. This edition is beautifully accompanied with Peter Scott's lovely illustrations.

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally excellent with sunning to the spine and rear board. The odd spot to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with only the odd spot and minor handling mark.
