Originally published in Spanish in the early seventeenth century, and one of the most translated literary works of all time, this is a wonderful edition of a work often labelled the first modern novel.

Translated into English by Peter Motteux.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth backed, paper covered boards, with acetate dust wrapper with printed text. Externally, excellent, with a touch of shelf wear to back strip tail. Small loss and closed tear to back strip head, with light rubbing to text of front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages exceptionally clean and bright.
