'Plain Murder' is the second of C. S. Forester's crime novels, located in the grimy back streets of 1930s London where three unemployed men have been discovered taking bribes.
Cecil Louis Troughton Smith, better known by his pen name Cecil Scott Forester, was an English novelist who rose to fame with tales of naval warfare, his most notable being the 'Horatio Hornblower' series set during the Napoleonic Wars.
Condition
In the original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with minor bumping to the extremities. Dust wrapper is smart. With edge wear, most notable to the spine head and tail, and handling marks visible to the rear panel. A few light spots to the flyleaf. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with the odd spot.
