Two adventure novels from prolific English children's author Enid Blyton, 'The Castle of Adventure' and 'The Ship of Adventure'.
Both books feature the series' same characters: Philip, Jack, Dinah, and Lucy-Ann, following the group as they discover and solve mysteries.
'Castle' is the second book in the 'Adventure' series, and the group attempts to figure out what is behind the strange goings-on at a ruined castle near Spring Cottage in Scotland.
In 'Ship', the characters plunged into an exciting quest to find the lost treasure of the Andra - with some ruthless villains hot on their trail.
Illustrated throughout by Stuart Tresilian.
Condition
In the original decorative cloth bindings. Externally, smart. With rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Hinges of 'Castle' are tender, and with a small pencil drawing to its front board. Handling marks to both boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with offsetting to the endpapers of 'Ship' and the odd spot to both. With a few leaves of 'Castle' chipped to the bottom.
