    First Edition, Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding

    The first edition. 

    Illustrated with a colour illustration to the front, and many monochrome illustrations throughout by John Jones. 

    This humorous wartime comic was created by 'Jon', or John Jones, and follows two British officers. The comics were originally published in the British Army Newspaper Unit, and grew very popular.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original paper covers. Externally very smart with the odd slight mark, rusting to the staples, and minor creasing to the extremities. Internally firmly bound with age toning and the odd minor mark.
