In the original cloth binding.

With ten folding maps and a master plan (printed across two folding maps) held in the rear pocket. With eighty-nine photographs and numerous maps and plans, eighteen of which are in colour. 

Collated, complete. 

This report details the proposed replanning of post-Second World War London, carried out by architect, urban designer and town planner, Patrick Abercrombie. Also commonly referred to as the Abercrombie Plan, this project conceived the Ringways scheme, proposing four ringroads around Greater London. 

Abercrombie was an academic during most of his career, and prepared one city plan and several regional studies prior to the Second World War.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, with discolouration to the cloth and rubbing to the extremities, most notable to the spine. Marks to the boards and offsetting to the rear board. Splits to the backstrip. Internally, firmly bound. Age toning to the endpapers, otherwise bright and clean.
