This work was published termly, with three pamphlets per year. Enclosed in this set are January 1945, May 1945, September 1945, January 1946, May 1946, September 1946, January 1947, May 1947, September 1947, January 1948, May 1948, September 1948, January 1949. The pamphlets for 1945 and 1946 are labelled as Eaton Chester, which is Eaton Hall in Cheshire. The Royal Naval College moved here in 1943 following the Britannia Royal Naval College bombings. The college then moved back to Dartmouth in late 1946 which is why the following pamphlets are labelled Dartmouth. These volumes are a fascinating piece of naval history in Britain following the Second World War.
Condition
In the original paper wraps. Externally, smart. The 1946 volumes and May 1948 volume are faded to the spine and to the wrap edges. a amll amount of bumping to the extremities of all volumes. Staples to May 1946 have rusted, resulting in a small amount of residue to the spine. Small loss to the rear wrap at the head of wrap. A few handling marks to the wraps. Small mark to the front wrap of January 1945 volume. Scattered spots to the rear wrap of 1945 volume. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright with just the odd spots.
