This ornithological work was created in collaboration between Eric J. Hosking and Cyril W. Newberry. The work discusses a number of bird breeds with photography by the English photographer Eric Hosking, best known for his beautiful bird pictures.

Condition
In the publisher's original cloths. Lacking the original dust wrappers. Externally smart with fading to the spines, bumping to the extremities and slight marks to the boards. Front hinge starting to 'More Birds of the Day' with tape repairs to the front hinge, slight cockling and an ink inscription to the front endpapers to 'Birds of the Day'. Internally binding generally firm with slight strain in places. Pages bright and clean.
