    The first edition of this work in the publisher's original pictorial paper wraps.

    An entertaining work telling the official story of Britain's anti-aircraft defences between 1939 and 1942, with black and white photographs of aircraft, barrage balloons, weapons, and the women of the ATS. This work was prepared for the War Office and the Air Ministry by the Ministry of Information, with first-hand stories from pilot officers giving an insight into their work.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original pictorial paper wraps. Externally bright and smart, with light shelf wear to the joints and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for the odd spot to the title page and fore edge.
