    Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

    The 1952 edition of W. A. Poucher's illustrated celebration of Britain's hills and mountains. In the very scarce publisher's original dust wrapper, price unclipped.

    Illustrated throughout with full page reproductions of the photographs of Poucher, a photojournalist known for his mountain guide books, the majority of which were published during and after the second world war. 

    Discussing the Scottish highlands, the Lake District, and Snowdonia.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Bumping to back strip head and tail. Significant closed tear to dust wrapper rear joint, with losses to back strip head and tail, and further small losses to wrap perimeters. Mark to tail of rear wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
