What Our Customers Say...
Description
First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper
The first edition of this work.
Containing many poems by popular authors Robert Graves, Alan Hodge, and Norman Cameron.
A collaboration by these authors, who published three of their little books under a single cover for the economy, which in 1942, due to the war, was struggling, and for friendship. Indeed, Hodge and Norman were known for circulating with a group of writers and artists associated with Laura Riding and Robert Graves.
With seventeen poems by Alan Hodge, such as 'Advice in November,' 'Ever Heard,' 'This Love,' and 'History Disowned;' eleven poems by Norman Cameron such as 'Forgive Me, Sire,' 'Three Love Poems,' and 'Moonlight, Waterlight, and Opal;' and eighteen poems by Robert Graves, such as 'A Love Story,' 'Dawn Bombardment,' 'The Beast,' and others.
