'The World Crisis' offers Winston Churchill's account of the First World War, during which he served a key role as First Lord of the Admiralty. It was originally published in six volumes (bound into five) between 1923-1931.
This copy is illustrated with three facsimile plates (one folding) and twenty-six maps and plans, eight of which are folding. Collated, complete.
Condition
In the original navy cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with minor rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. With slight offsetting and a couple spots to the endpapers, otherwise contents are bright and clean.
