Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

This is a limited edition copy of this work on the life of the Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi as expressed through photographs.

Seventy one copies were printed on special luxury paper and four hundred and nine were printed on Roto paper, this being the later.

This volume is in German with some of the picture caption in Italian. 

Giuseppe Verdi was an Italian composer best known for his operas who received a musical education with the help of a local patron. 

With two hundred and thirty six pages of photographs.

Condition

In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally, worn with some fading and marks to the boards. Some chipping to the tail of the spine. Internally, generally firmly bound with the first few pages slightly loosening from the binding. With generally bright and clean pages with some light scattered spots to the first few pages.
