Limited to two hundred and ten copies of which this is number one hundred and twenty-seven. Scarce work. A collection of short essays on each month of the year, commemorating the changing of the seasons and the passing of time. Written by Nicholas Breton, a poet and prose writer of the English Renaissance.

Condition

In the original red cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd small mark. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper. Previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown.
