What Our Customers Say...

Description

Early Edition, Scarce, With Dustwrapper

Early edition.

Published by Grosset and Dunlap the same year as the first.

In the publisher's unclipped dust wrapper.

Written by American author and lawyer, Erle Stanley Gardner, under one of his many pseudonyms, A. A. Fair.

The fourth novel from Gardner's Cool and Lam detective series, featuring Bertha Cool, head of the B. L. Detective Agency in Los Angeles, and her partner Donald Lam. Set in Las Vegas, this particular tale surrounds the seemingly unconnected case of a runaway bride and a slot machine fixing ring.

Condition

Bound in the publisher's cloth, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with just the odd mark. Ownership label to front paste down. Dust wrapper is smart, with chipping to the extremities and some loss to the backstrip head and tail. Rubbing to the joints and sunning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
