First edition. Review copy with publisher's ink stamp to the front pastedown. Illustrated with eight cages with folding doors and eight colour paper animal models. Collated complete and in perfect condition other than a small closed tear to the cage of Spotty the leopard. An interactive storybook for children, following Mr. Luke the zookeeper as he attempts to put all the animals back in their cages. Written by Dorothy N. King, an American children's book writer. Illustrated by Joseph Sica, an American illustrator and artist.
Condition
In the original pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, smart with light chipping and minor rubbing to the extremities. The odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. Light age toning to the extremities. All folding features and paper characters are in perfect condition other than a small closed tear to the cage of Spotty the leopard. With previous owner's and publisher's ink stamps to the front pastedown.
