A two volume set, including: 'Fire Over London: The Story of The London Fire Service 1940-41', and 'Bombers Over Merseyside: The Authoritative Record of the Blitz 1940-41'.

Illustrated throughout both works with monochrome vignettes depicting London in the Blitz. 

This set features two volumes of historical pamphlets depicting the events of World War One, focusing on the Blitz and the bombings over London. The works describe the role of the London fire service during the dropping of fire bombs, and articles on the bombings in Merseyside.

Condition

In he publisher's original paper covers. Externally smart with wear to the extremities and loss to the tail of the spine to 'Bombers', marks to the rears, and rusting to the staples to 'Fire Over London'. Internally firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages with occasional handling marks and minimal age toning.
