First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

A set of two wartime magazines detailing ship building and bomber command during the Second World War. 

The Bomber Command magazine is The Air Ministry Account of Bomber Command's Offensive Against the Axis between September, 1939 and July 1941. The magazine was issued for The Air Ministry by The Ministry of Information and first published in 1941. With illustrations throughout. 

Build the Ships was first published in 1946 by The Ministry of Information with the approval of The Admiralty and details the official story and work of the British shipyards in Wartime. With illustrations throughout.

Condition

In the original paper wraps. Externally, both magazine are very well presented with some light fading to the joints of Bomber Command. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
