    Description

    Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

    Very scarce work. Illustrated throughout. A booklet on the city of Bombay, with details of the history and development of the city, modern Bombay, climate, transport, communications, sights, social life and activities, the suburbs, and more. With a calendar for the year 1940 and many contemporary local advertisements. Produced by R. J. Mehta.

    Condition

    In the original paper wraps. Externally, smart with light wear to the extremities. Minor chipping resulting in loss to the head and tail of the spine. Sunning to the spine and light spotting to the boards. Small tears to the front hinge from staples. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light age toning to the extremities. Minor chipping and the odd small closed tear to the page edges of the last few pages.
