What Our Customers Say...

Description

Early Edition, Illustrated, With Dustwrapper

The third impression of this work, published in November of the same year as the first impression, in the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper for the second impression. Richmal Crompton Lamburn (1890-1969) was a popular English writer, best known for her Just William series and humourous short stories. This work is the twenty-second Just William short story collection, later published as William and the Film Star in 1956. Illustrated throughout by Thomas Henry.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is bright and smart, though the spine is slightly faded. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with a little spotting to the first and last few pages, and to the fore edge, affecting the occasional page. Dust wrapper remains bright, but is chipped to the upper extremities and to the tail of the spine. Light soiling to the rear of the wrap.
