This very scarce edition was published by daily newspaper 'The Philadelphia Record' on the 12th May, 1940. The newspaper published a complete $2 novel every Sunday.

Containing all fifteen chapters of the humorous novel.

With a yellow and black illustration to the title page, and with one further illustration.

With an advertisement for the newspaper to the rear wrap, and with an advertisement for next week's novel - 'Death Serves An Ace' by Wills and Murphy - to the tale of page 15.
