A collection of twelve short stories, containing 'The Hound of Death', 'The Red Signal', 'The Fourth Man', 'The Gypsy', 'The Lamp', 'Wireless', 'The Witness for the Prosecution', 'The Mystery of the Blue Jar', 'The Strange Case of Sir Arthur Carmichael', 'The Call of Wings', 'The Last Seance', and 'SOS'.
'The Witness for the Prosecution' is notable as Christie later adapted the story into an award-winning play.
Agatha Christie is one of the most prolific and successful detective writers of her time, writing sixty-six detective novels in total. She is best known for her protagonists Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. A little fading to the spine and extremities. A few light marks to the boards and spine. Light spots to the fore edge. Label to the rear paste down, institutional stamp to the verso to the rear endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with just a few light spots.
