Vincent N. turvey was a British clairvoyant and engineer, known for his work on parapsychology. The present work was undertaken after the author suffered from serious health issued, and gave up his profession as engineer in favour of the occult and yoga, and it described his clairvoyant and out-of-body experiences. A fascinating early study of seership.
Initially published in 1911, this is a new edition of 1940, complete in its unclipped dust wrapper. A scarce work in all edition, rarely found on the market.
Condition
In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally generally smart with minor shelf wear and some fading to the spine, minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. The dust wrapper is sound with shelf wear and chipping, light spotting to the wraps and some loss to the head and tail of the spine, which is slightly sunned. Previous ownership inscription to the front free endpaper, undated. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting tot he fore edge, affecting only the occasional leaf; otherwise, the pages are generally very clean with only a hint of age toning, as usual. Illustrated with a photographic frontispiece in black and white.
