Edgar Rice Burroughs was a popular author of adventure novels, best known for his character 'Tarzan', on whom the 1999 Disney film was based on. His wrote his first novel, 'Under the Moons of Mars', after suffering from money troubles. Burroughs cashed in on the original success of 'Tarzan' by writing twenty-three sequels. He also dabbled in science fiction, with his character John Carter, a civil war veteran who becomes an adventurer of Mars.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Very light shelf wear and rubbing to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few light marks to the cloth. Scattered spots to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with a few scattered spots.
