This collection of Sassoon's poetry extracts some of his best works from his previous collections, such as 'Selected Poems', 'Satirical Poems', 'The Heart's Journey', and 'Vigils', with a total of fifty-eight poems in this volume.
Including some of his important war poetry, describing the horrors of the trenches.
Without the original dust wrapper.
Condition
In the original publisher's paper covered boards. Externally, smart, with light marks to the boards, including a faint tidemark to the rear board. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with a few scattered spots to the first and last few pages.
