    The first US edition, first printing.

    In the publisher's original dust wrapper, price unclipped.

    A posthumously published collection of the poems and plays of major Irish writer W. B. Yeats, the poems dating from 1936-1939.

    The two plays included in this volume are 'Purgatory' and 'The Death of Cuchulain'.

    With the inscription of Robert J. Lohan to the head of the front free endpaper.

    An attractive example of this celebrated collection.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. A touch of rubbing to head of front joint, otherwise externally excellent. Inscription to front free endpaper. Dust wrapper back strip age toned, with small tide mark to head of back strip and front wrap. Small closed tear to head of front wrap, with a minor loss to the head of the rear wrap. Two handling marks to fore edge of front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages a touch age toned to perimeters, otherwise clean and bright.
