First edition. A moving play in which Forster depicts the pursuit of personal connections in spite of the restrictions of class, in a country setting. Written by Edward Morgan Forster, an English author best known for his novels, particularly A Room with a View, Howards End and A Passage to India.
Condition
In the original red cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original unclipped dust wrapper is smart with light wear to the extremities and the odd small mark. Sunning to the spine and panel edges with loss to the front panel and spine. A red ink stain to the rear panel. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with minor age toning to the endpapers.
