A very scarce limited edition, first edition work. This is number 230 of 750 copies produced.
In the publisher's original glassine.
With a loosely inserted typed letter to the owner of the press where this was published, Eugene A. Clauss. The letter is unsigned, but says 'I am again indebted to you for remembering me and for the copy [...] it is a nice piece of work and goes well with the previous books sent out by you in a record of the libraries of Providence'.
A label to the front pastedown from Clauss asks for acknowledgement of receipt of copies sent out.

Condition
In the publisher's original paper covered boards, with glassine. A touch of shelf wear to back strip tail, otherwise externally fine. Glassine age toned to back strip, with only minor loss to back strip tail. Label to front pastedown. Typed letter loosely inserted. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
