Recipes include: "Cucumber Creams," "Smothered Sausages," Sandwich Waffles," "Onion Crisps," "Egg and Ham Cutlets," "Spanish Omlette," "Anchovy Toast," and "Cheese Meringues" to name a handful.
D. D. [Dorothy Daisy] Cottington-Taylor (1891-1944) was a domestic scientist and longtime head of the Good Housekeeping Institute.
Condition
In the publisher's original pictorial paper wraps. Externally, very smart. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities resulting in one or two very slight chips to head and tail of spine. Creasing to spine. One or two very slight handling marks to wraps. Bookplate from "Martin & Pamela Finch: Exlibris Gastronomique" to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with the odd spot to fore edge.
