Facsimile. 

Originally issued in 1675, this was the first road atlas of England and Wales to be based on surveys and measurements, and drawn to scale. 

In the original cloth binding.

This facsimile is complete with reproductions of all 100 of the strip road maps, which feature Ogilby's charming details such as configurations of hills, bridges and ferries, and the relative sizes of towns. Prefaced with his advice for the map's use and notes on the towns shown.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, with marks to the cloth and minor bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with a few scattered spots to the margins of the pages, with heaviest scattering to the first and last few pages.
