Offering a set of nine works from English writer Osbert Sitwell, varying from his plays and short stories, to his essays and reminiscences. 

All first editions, first impressions with the exception of 'Those Were the Days' (second impression, published two months after the first) and 'Tales My Father Taught Me' (fifth impression). 

With the publisher's original dust wrappers, all unclipped except for 'Tales My Father Taught Me'.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth bindings. With the publisher's original dust wrappers, all unclipped except for 'Tales My Father Taught Me'. Externally, very smart, with minor fading to the spines of 'Wrack at Tidesend' and minimal shelf wear across the set. Dust wrappers are smart. With sunning to the spines and general edge wear. With chipping to the spine head of 'Those Were the Days' and to the front wrap of 'A Place of One's Own'. With instances of scattered spots or handling marks across all wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with a few spots concentrated to the endpapers.
