Volume four contains Cormorants to Crane and is illustrated with thirty-three plates many of which are in colour, eight maps, and numerous in-text figures. Volume five contains Terns to Game-Birds with additions and corrections, as well as systematic list and indices. Illustrated with twenty-two plates many of which are in colour, ten maps, and numerous in-text figures. Collated complete. Condition

In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor wear to the extremities. Light damp marks to the boards of volume one. Original unclipped dust wrappers are also smart with light wear and sunning to the spine and panel edges. The odd small closed tear to the panel edges with light loss to the head of the spine to volumes one and two. The odd small mark to the panels. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot or handling mark. Bookseller's label to the rear pastedown.
