Containing four pieces 'Charles Dickens and His Illustrators,' by Arthur Wright, past president of the Dickens Fellowship and Deputy-Chairman of the Board of Chapman and Hall (the original Dickens publishers); 'A Bibliographical List' of the original illustrations to the works of Charles Dickens, compiled by Thomas Hatton; 'A Retrospectus' on the editions of Dickens' work; and a 'Prospectus' on the Nonesuch Dickens.
Illustrated with plates of photographs and facsimiles of Dickens' original work.
Condition
In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally very smart with only minor shelf wear and a minor marking to the boards, light soiling to the boards and spine. Internally, firmly bound. Light minor spotting to the endpapers, otherwise the pages are bright and clean.
