This work contains bibliographical information on the Nonesuch Dickensiana. This edition serves as a companion to the complete Nonesuch edition of Charles Dickens's works. The volume is divided into four sections: 'Charles Dickens and His Illustrators,' by Arthur Wright; 'A Bibliographical List' of the original illustrations to the works of Charles Dickens, compiled by Thomas Hatton; 'A Retrospectus' on the editions of Dickens' work; and a 'Prospectus' on the Nonesuch Dickens.

The machining of the lithographic reproductions is performed by the Curwen Press, London. The binding is done by the Leighton-Straker bookbinding Company, Ltd., of London.
