In the publisher's original unclipped dust wrapper.

Described as 'a sort of ghost story', the novella was prompted by the onset of the Spanish Civil War, and Wells's anxieties surrounding it.

Condition

In the publisher's original paper covered boards, with unclipped dust wrapper Externally, fine. Dust wrapper back strip and rear wrap perimeters age toned. Light handling marks towards fore edge of front wrap. Small closed tear to head of rear wrap. Minor chips to back strip head and tail. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
