With reference to a variety of species, including the Tragopan Pheasant, Blood Pheasant, Impeyan Pheasant, Crested Fireback Pheasant, and the Junglefowl. Written by Charles William Beebe, an American naturalist, ornithologist, marine biologist, entomologist, explorer, and author. Best remembered for the numerous expeditions he conducted for the New York Zoological Society and his prolific scientific writing for academic and popular audiences. Published under the auspices of the New York Zoological Society.

Condition

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor rubbing to the extremities and light fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark.
