'Peer Gynt' is a five-act play in verse, originally written in Danish but translated here into English.
This play follows Peer Gynt, as he is on a journey from the mountains of Norway to the North African desert.
Written by Henrik Ibsen, a Norwegian playwright, who is known as one of the founders of modernism in theatre. He was one of the most influential playwrights of his time.

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with unclipped dust wrapper. A touch of shelf wear to back strip tail, otherwise externally fine. Dust wrapper bright, with major closed tear towards tail of front wrap, and with further 2" closed tear to tail of rear wrap. Light chipping to back strip head and tail. Small closed tear to back strip head. Tape repair to back strip head reverse. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
