This book covers the uses and the cultivation of herbs in exhaustive detail and is still of great practical use today. With advice on the making of a herb garden and the use of herbs for decorative effect in the flower garden.

Written by British gardener, garden designer and horticultural writer, Eleanour Sinclair Rohde. She authored thirty publications on gardening and its history, most well-known of all being her book 'The Scented Garden'.

Condition

In the original green cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with fading to the spine cloth. Slight rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages. Minor offsetting to the front and rear blanks and light spotting to the title page.
