    First edition. Very scarce work. An entirely new book on the economical lines for the modern amateur gardener, with full instructions for the successful growing of flowers, vegetables, and fruits. Including a guide to planning your garden and a gardeners' calendar. Written by Elizabeth Josephine Craig, a Scottish journalist, home economist and a notable author on cookery.

    Condition

    In the original paper covered boards. Externally, sound with light bumping to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Sunning to the spine and board edges. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with age toning to the extremities. A 1" closed tear to page 191/192. With the previous owner's bookplate to the front endpaper.
