The eleven surviving comedies of Aristophanes complete in one volume, translated into English. Issued as two volumes in one.

Aristophanes wrote a total of forty plays, however only eleven survive virtually complete today, all of which are included in this volume. His plays provide a valuable example of the Old Comedy style, with daring political commentary and sexual innuendo.
