Fourteenth edition. Illustrated throughout with numerous vignettes. Edward Dobson (1816/17? – 19 September 1908) was Provincial Engineer for the Canterbury Province from 1854 to 1868.

Condition

In a cloth binding with original dustwrapper. Externally, sound, though with some bumping. Dustwrapper is sound, though with some chipping, small closed tears, ink stamp to front, and some handling marks. Internally, firmly bound. Ink stamp to front pastedown. Ink signature to first page of preface. Pages are bright and clean.
