This work features a devotional Christian manuscript by John Evelyn, originally preserved by his descendants and now made available in this limited edition. John Evelyn was a noted English writer best known for his extensive and important memoir.
Condition
In the publisher's original quarter cloth with the original clipped dust wrapper. Externally excellent with minimal fading to the spine and the odd slight handling mark. The odd spot to the endpapers. The wrap is smart with handling marks, sunning to the spine, spotting, a closed tear to the rear, and small closed tears to the extremities. Internally firmly bound with generally bright pages with the odd spot, slightly heavier to the front and rear.
